Donations and Bequests

Supporting the people of Townsville since 1945

As the North's only Catholic not-for-profit hospital, Mater was built on the support of the community from its early days.  Mater today remains extremely grateful for donations or bequests.

Monetary donations can be made directly to the hospital, via the Office of the Chief Executive.

We are also very grateful to receive donations of items, and all are assessed for their safety and appropriateness for patients and hygeine. Please note, as a health service,  we are guided by strict infection control policies and safety considerations which may prevent us from distributing certain types of gifts.
